6月3日からスタートしたクラウドファンディングキャンペーンは、7月11日をもって終了しました。
目標としていた「100人のマンスリーサポーター」には届きませんでしたが、多くの方に活動を知っていただき、あたたかいご支援や応援の声をいただけたことに、心より感謝しています。
「水からはじまる自立支援」を通して、誰もが自分の力で未来を描ける社会を目指し、私たちはこれからも活動を続けていきます。
現地の声に耳を傾けながら、継続的な支援の輪をより多くの方へと広げていけるよう、一歩ずつ歩みを進めてまいります。
今回のチャレンジは、私たちにとって大きな学びとなりました。
そして、応援してくださった皆さまの存在が、何よりも力になりました。
これからも、どうかあたたかく見守っていただけると嬉しいです。

Our crowdfunding campaign, which began on June 3, officially came to a close on July 11.
Although we did not reach our goal of 100 monthly supporters, we are deeply grateful for the many people who learned about our work and offered warm support and words of encouragement.
Through our initiative “from water to self-reliance” we remain committed to building a world where everyone is empowered to shape their own future.
By listening closely to the voices of those on the ground, we will continue to take steady steps forward and expand the circle of ongoing support.
This campaign has been a tremendous learning experience for us.
Above all, the encouragement from each of you has been our greatest source of strength.
We hope you will continue to follow our journey with warmth and care.

Today, we’re pleased to introduce a message from Mr. Tomohiko Ishihara, who joined a study tour to visit our project site in Cambodia and recently became a Monthly Supporter.

11年前にホープを知り、カンボジアUNIONツアーに参加しました。
現地で支援活動の一部を体験させてもらい、支援のある村とない村の違いも目の当たりにしました。支援を受けている村の子どもたちの目がとてもキラキラしていることが印象的でした。
それ以来サポーターになり、ホープのスタッフさんとは懇意にさせていただいており、色々情報も得ています。
ツアーに参加したのが夏だったので、毎年この時期になると、暑さとともに当時が懐かしく思い出され、また改めて応援してみようと思いました。

組織基盤強化の取組みに3年間、コンサルタントとして伴走させていただきました。
“水からはじまる自立支援”は、ホープインターナショナル開発機構さんが、カンボジア・エチオピア・フィリピンで24年にわたる取組みであるとともに、団体と活動を象徴するキャッチフレーズでもあります。めざす未来（ビジョン）の「どんな環境に生まれても持っている力を最大限生かせる希望ある社会」や、使命（ミッション）の「支援の届いていない人々の自立への道筋を支援すること」の言葉、「Self-reliance、Compassion、Dignity、Integrity、Long term Relationship」といった行動指針（バリュー）は、組織基盤強化の取組みの中で、創設時から大切にしていることを振り返って継承し、今後に向けてどうあろうとするか、皆さんと話し合いながら、一つひとつ丁寧に確認してきたものです。
未来を実現し、使命を体現するのは、弛まぬ日々の真摯で地道な取組みと挑戦の積み重ねに尽きると思います。
