The crowdfunding campaign ended the 15 November and we are very happy to announce that it was a great success.
In summary, 59 Japanese donators contributed to the campaign for a total of 592 000 JPY through the Japanese-language campaign conducted simultaneously on CAMPFIRE in Japan and 10 foreign donators for a total of 115 300 JPY.
Among the latter we received relatively early after the launch of the campaign a message from ASNR (France) indicating they were going to support the translation and recording costs of the Dialogue. But because of internal administrative rules they were unable to transfer their support directly to the crowdfunding company (Syncable) but had to pay the invoice of the translation company. This has been done soon after.
Combining the money sent to Syncable and the direct support of the translation and recording, the initial goal of 1 million yen has been largely reached, which means that the NPO will be able not only to support, as initially planned, the support of childcare of participants during the dialogue, the transportation costs of the participants and the organizing staff, as well as all administrative costs of holding the dialogue, but will be in a position to finance some additional activities. The exact amount and its use will be specified as soon as Dialogue's final accounts are known.
You will find in Annex the names of the individuals and the organizations that supported us and once again we thank all of them sincerely for their trust in the NPO.
